BRITISH INVASION II: SGT. PEPPER’S AND BEYOND

Jackson, MS —Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., at Duling Hall in historic Fondren, Mississippi Opera presents BRITISH INVASION II: SGT. PEPPER’S & BEYOND, featuring some of the most iconic music from the golden age of Classic Rock.

Our original “British Invasion” show celebrated the arrival of the Beatles in the U.S. in 1964, the start of the British Invasion, and included music by The Beatles, The Dave Clark Five, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, Gerry and The Pacemakers, Herman’s Hermits, and The Who. 

BRITISH INVASION IIpicks up where last year’s smash hit left off: beginning with “Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” and continuing on with more classic songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Queen…all the way to Pink Floyd’s groundbreaking album– “The Wall”.
